The dates of the competition
The 6th International Piano Competition - Istanbul - Orchestra’Sion will take place from Monday 1st to Thursday 4th of April 2024.
Sunday March 31, 2024:
- 06:00 pm: Doors opening
- 06:00 pm / 10:00 pm: Test on the competition piano (a few minutes for each candidate)
- 08:00 pm: Your presence is mandatory. Welcome reception, draw to determine your date and time of performance.
Be careful, it takes at least 3 hours after landing to arrive at our school (passport control, baggage claim, traffic jams, etc)
The first three rounds of the competition will take place in Notre-Dame de Sion high school’s concert hall. The competition will take place during the day, from morning to evening.
- First round: Monday April 01, 2024
9:00 am - 01:00 pm // 03:00 pm - 07:00 pm - Second round: Tuesday, April 02, 2024
10:00 am - 01:00 pm // 03:00 pm - 06:00 pm - Third round: Wednesday April 3, 2024
10:00 am - 12:15 // 01:30 - 03:45 p.m. - Thursday 04 April 2024 (evening)
The Fourth Round (Final with Orchestra) and The Award Ceremony will take place on Thursday April 04, 2024 evening, in Cemal Reşit Rey Concert Hall, which is located very close to the high school.
