Prizes and Awards

The first prize will receive 8 000 US dollars, the second prize will receive 4 000 US dollars and the third prize will receive 2 000 US dollars.

The first prize will be proposed an offer of several concerts in the two years following the competition, including a recital as part of the annual program of the concert hall of Notre-Dame de Sion high school (Istanbul, Turkey), a recital during the Lisztomanias Festival (Chateauroux, France), a concert at the Gümüşlük International Classical Music Festival (Gümüşlük, Turkey) and a concert at the Ayvalık International Music Academy (Ayvalık, Turkey). The winner might be offered the opportunity to give other concerts, the list of which will be regularly updated on the competition website.

One of the candidates will be offered, within two years after the competition, a recital at the Saint-Bonnet theater (Bourges, France).

Candidates may also be awarded other prizes, such as the Ali Darmar Prize, the NDS Jeunesses Musicales Prize or any other musical prize validated by the competition president and the jury members.

Cemal Reşit Rey Prize

In partnership with the Cemal Reşit Rey (CRR) Concert Hall, Murat Cem orhan, General Artistic Director of CRR will join the Jury during the Final (Thursday April 04, 2024) to award the Cemal Reşit Rey Prize to the finalist who proposed the best performance of the imposed piece from the composer Cemal Reşit Rey.

The Cemal Reşit Rey Prize will be accompanied by a concert offer in the programming of the CRR concert hall.

Prize of the Consul General of France Olivier Gauvin

In partnership with the French Institute of Istanbul, the Consul General of France, Mr. Olivier Gauvin, a trained professional pianist, will join the jury during the semi-final (Wednesday April 3, 2024) to award his prize to the candidate of his choice.

All prizes will be given at the closing awards ceremony.
